A Strange Encounter Near Pachaug State Forest
In the early hours of 5 July 2026, Rhode Island resident Kevin Klimas reported seeing what he described as a large, unknown bipedal creature while driving through the wooded countryside near Voluntown, Connecticut.
According to his report submitted to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), the sighting occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. after Klimas had left a friend’s cabin near Beach Pond.
Klimas stated that a large figure emerged near the roadside and crossed in front of his vehicle before quickly disappearing into the surrounding forest.

The Witness Description
The creature was described as:

The witness estimated that the creature crossed the road in only a few steps before vanishing into the woodland.
